The purpose of The Curtis L. Johnson Scholarship Foundation is to honor the life of Curtis L. Johnson of Memphis, TN, who was tragically killed as a result of gun violence, and award scholarships to deserving Seniors that have the desire to continue their secondary education.
Gun violence in Shelby County and across the country is at an all-time high. We are dedicated to find a solution. Deserving students must display a passion for creating solutions to ending gun violence and promoting responsible gun safety in their community. Our vision is to continue Curtis L. Johnson’s memory while directly impacting the lives of students.
The Foundation will award deserving recipients a scholarship in the amount of $1,000 each.
